About The Position

Requirements

  • Must have professional teaching experience with preschool-age children.
  • Core ECE coursework and Center Administration course required.
  • Provide all transcripts of college coursework.
  • Strong knowledge of state licensing rules and regulations.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, stand 95% of the day, stoop/bend down to a child's level, and perform all other typical physical activity required while caring for young children
  • Possess skills, attributes, and characteristics conducive to and suitable for dealing with children
  • Must speak English well enough to communicate with children, staff, management, and parents
  • Must be able to read and write English well enough to prepare, complete and maintain administrative forms and records as required by current governmental regulations and company policies and procedures
  • Satisfy the mandatory physical and background checks as required by State and company regulations and policies

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of center leadership/management experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in ECE or a related field is highly preferred.
  • CPR and First Aid Certifications are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts classroom observations, evaluations and provides feedback that motivates and encourages learning
  • Manages team to ensure the curriculum is executed in alignment with brand standards
  • Uses a growth mindset to train, coach, and develop staff for the future
  • Builds and communicates weekly staff schedules
  • Daily management of classroom ratios
  • Manages new hire paperwork and ensures employee files comply with state licensing regulations
  • Communicates center schedules to ensure appropriate ratios are always intact and labor is effectively managed to budget
  • Leads tours with prospective families, highlighting key features/points of difference with our curriculum, teacher tenure/quality, etc.
  • Regularly communicates with families regarding student progress
  • Executes “parent pleasers”
  • Execution of our Show and Tell parent application
  • Ensures the physical environment and health/safety standards are in full compliance with local and state licensing regulations
  • Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations
  • Responsible for accident/incident reporting
  • Children’s medication management
  • Conducts monthly emergency safety drills
  • Manages new customer administration and children’s files in compliance with state licensing regulations
  • Attends staff/parent events and completes training classes as required by State regulations
