About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Center Director to lead our Head Start program, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early childhood education and comprehensive services to children and families in our community. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the Head Start center, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations - Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and goals aligned with Head Start standards - Lead, supervise, and support staff, including teachers, administrative personnel, and support staff - Foster strong relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders to promote family engagement and community involvement - Manage program budgets, grants, and resources efficiently to meet program objectives - Monitor and evaluate program performance, ensuring continuous improvement and quality assurance - Ensure a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children and staff - Facilitate staff training, professional development, and team-building activities - Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for oversight agencies and funding bodies Join our organization and be part of a dynamic team committed to empowering children and families through quality early childhood education. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
  • Master’s degree or Director's Credential
  • Proven experience in early childhood education program management, preferably within Head Start or similar programs
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and administrative skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing Head Start programs
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets and grants
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed
