About The Position
As the Preschool Assistant Teacher you will support children’s school readiness by providing a safe, culturally and linguistically responsive, and developmentally appropriate Head Start classroom environment. Position follows ECMHSP service plans, Family Engagement practices, and supports the implementation of ECMHSP Program Goals and Objectives.
Requirements
- Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or state equivalency or enrolled in an associate/bachelor’s degree program or enrolled in a CDA credential or state equivalency program to be completed within two years of the time hire in the position.
- Experience working with Latino community, knowledge of the Latino migrant farmworker culture/lifestyle.
