About The Position

The Learning Experience is seeking a caring and dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to support our preschool classrooms. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early childhood education who enjoys working collaboratively in a structured, play-based learning environment. Our preschool program focuses on building school readiness skills through hands-on learning, positive guidance, and consistent routines that support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred
• Reliable, nurturing, and team-oriented
• Ability to meet state childcare licensing and background requirements

Responsibilities

• Support Lead Teachers in implementing daily lessons and classroom activities
• Assist with maintaining a safe, clean, and engaging preschool classroom
• Help guide children through daily routines, transitions, meals, and rest time
• Engage children through play, small-group activities, and learning centers
• Support positive behavior guidance and classroom structure
• Communicate professionally with families and teaching team members
• Follow all health, safety, and licensing requirements
