About The Position
Preschool Educational Aide (Paraprofessional) - Licking Regional Educational Service Center has an immediate opening for a General Education Preschool Aide to serve in the Tri-Valley School District (Adamsville Elementary). Applicants must be willing to complete a BCI and FBI background check and hold, or be willing to obtain, an Educational Aide Permit with ESEA Endorsement through the Ohio Department of Education. Candidates should be team oriented, have a desire to learn new things and be willing to take instruction. Self-motivation is highly desired as are honesty, integrity and confidentiality. Salary range will depend on experience. This position will be filled immediately upon finding a successful candidate. Paraprofessional applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid Educational Aide Permit through the Ohio Department of Education. Upon hire you will be required to take the Paraprofessional PRAXIS test unless you hold an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution of higher education; or at least two years of study at an accredited institution of higher education (defined as 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours) in which case, you can choose to add the ESEA endorsement to the Educational Aide Permit after uploading your transcripts into your OH:ID account.
