About The Position

Ginger Bread House (GBH) is looking for a Preschool Age Teacher in McFarland, WI . This position will be responsible for carrying out the Preschool Age Program, with duties including but not limited to: Daily activities for Preschool children 3-4 years old Assist with Indoor and outdoor activities, field trips, projects, games. Responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that are developmentally appropriate. Daily communication with parents, participate in parent conferences. Attend all Family Engagement activities (ex: parent involvement activities, holiday celebrations, parades, etc). Maintain proper supervision of children during on-site and off-site activities (ex: walks, field trips, school age transportation, etc). Participating in training and professional development activities

Responsibilities

  • Daily activities for Preschool children 3-4 years old

  • Attend all staff meetings.
  • Meet State Licensing requirements.
  • Classroom orientation for new staff.
  • Work together with entire staff as a member on a team to ensure all daily tasks are completed.
  • Direct parent's problems and concerns appropriately.
  • When not responsible for children, make effective use of time.
  • Willing to take on new responsibilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with children, co-workers, and parents.
  • Ability to accept supervision and constructive criticism.
  • Dependable and flexible.
  • Enthusiastic, positive attitude, creative and self-motivated.
  • Adhere to all licensing regulations and center policies
