About The Position

This role sits within the Capital Markets Managed & Cloud Services Presales organization, a globally distributed team supporting over 100 financial services products across trading, risk, treasury, lending and asset services platforms. This is an advanced professional role with broad understanding of managed cloud services and all its strengths to existing and prospective clients. You will need to be able to resolve complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge and skills around the product as well as operational processes related to FIS Capital Markets solutions. You will need to exercise judgment in decision making, determine approach, methods and procedures to use on new assignments. You will act as a technical and commercial leader across complex sales pursuits, owning end-to-end solution offerings and presales strategy for Managed Services, SaaS, and cloud-hosted Capital Markets platforms. You will utilize knowledge of multiple products and their relationship to other business unit solutions to assist sales team in addressing both recurring and unique client/prospect requirements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting
  • Strong cloud (AWS/Azure/private cloud), SaaS, and managed services experience
  • Comfort using modern AI-enabled tools (Copilot, image/video generation) in workflows
  • Excellent client-facing communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team environment
  • Be based anywhere in the United State of America or Canada

Nice To Haves

  • AWS or Azure certifications
  • Capital Markets or regulated industry experience
  • Familiar with competitors and their managed cloud service offerings
  • Strong working familiarity with FIS and its various Capital Markets solutions

Responsibilities

  • Lead presales strategy and technical execution for complex opportunities
  • Present architectures and value propositions to executive and technical audiences
  • Describe the value of secure, scalable cloud and managed services architectures offered
  • Use modern AI-enabled and interactive tools to accelerate presentations, proposals, RFPs, RFIs, vendor questionnaires, and solution design reviews.
  • Partner with Sales, Product, Security, Legal, and Delivery teams to improve internal collaboration and processes
  • Create sales collateral and review contractual terms as needed
  • Mentor and guide other presales architects
