About The Position

The Presales Consultant will act as a trusted advisor to fashion customers. The Presales Consultant is a key contributor in selling Lectra’s SaaS solutions to our prospects and customers. He/She analyzes and understands the clients’ stakes, needs and environment, supporting the sales team, in order to meet their business and technical needs and goals. He/she will work very closely with the Sales team to promote and demonstrate the value of our SaaS solutions. The Presales Consultant builds compelling proposals aligned with customer strategic objectives, alongside members of the sales team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Fashion Design & Development or a related field will be required
  • 2 years or above working experience sales, presales, consultancy, or industrial experience, preferably in a similar market as Lectra's offer
  • Strong interest for sales and customer-facing roles
  • Solid industry expertise and knowledge in digital transformation
  • Strong value approach and ability to translate features into benefits that resonate with current customers' challenges
  • Ability to create a desire for Lectra's solutions and engage the customer emotionally by creating a preference to buy and a feeling of fondness about the product or service
  • Ability to share passion for new technologies and demonstrate their benefits
  • Capability to assess business processes and identify how our products will improve them
  • Capability to lead high-quality project delivery
  • Capability to identify financial impacts of inefficiencies and build business cases with different scenarios
  • Strong team player and ability to hand over complex projects to teams
  • Fluency in English.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of French is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team in qualifying, in depth, opportunities and defining proposals to meet customer needs
  • Work closely with customers to understand and capture their requirements and identify their main expected outcomes
  • Facilitate customer understanding of our value proposition through outstanding presentations tailored to customer’s ecosystem
  • Ensure the handover of the project to Customer Success teams
