About The Position

CherryRoad Publishing is seeking to hire a Prepress Technician to work part time at our Hutchinson print site. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team. This position will be responsible for addressing phone calls, supporting clients in-person, and overall newspaper office management duties.

Responsibilities

• Downloading papers using crush ftp or email
• Checking and fixing folio and 4 color black in Acrobat or Photoshop
• Working with program prepage/IT to upload and print papers
• Loading and unloading printer CTPS with metal sheets
• Downloading page files from crush or filezilla
• Working with programs like fiery to attach labels and print
• Checking and responding to emails
• Making blank dummy sheets
• Filling out tracking worksheets
• Cleaning in printer room
