About The Position
Cursive Solutions Inc. is seeking a talented Production Artist/Prepress Specialist to join our dynamic team in Mason, OH. As a Production Artist/Prepress Specialist, you will play a crucial role in processing customer-supplied artwork and producing engineered, press-ready files. This position requires a high level of skill in prepress, preflight, and print design, as well as the ability to manage a large volume of projects in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you will serve as the vital link between our Design and Operations teams, ensuring that projects are prioritized and delivered on time. You will consult with clients to understand their design intent and represent their interests during preproduction meetings and press approvals. Your responsibilities will include preparing files for assembly, troubleshooting client files, and providing guidance on best practices for digital file preparation. You will also be responsible for creating die lines and templates, maintaining organized files for easy retrieval, and proofreading all work to ensure accuracy and quality.
