About The Position

Retail First is looking for a Pre-Press Print Specialist to prepare and process artwork and production files for printing. This role ensures that all files meet production standards and print accurately and consistently.

You’ll work closely with design and production teams to review, adjust, and finalize artwork before it goes to print.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-press, print production, or graphic production
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
• Understanding of CMYK, color profiles, bleeds, and print setup
• Ability to review artwork carefully and catch errors
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with large format printing or packaging
• Knowledge of print equipment and production workflow

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process artwork for print production
• Check files for correct size, resolution, bleeds, and color settings
• Convert files to proper print-ready formats
• Adjust layouts and make minor design edits when needed
• Ensure color accuracy and print quality standards
• Communicate with designers and production staff to resolve file issues
• Maintain organized file structures and production records
• Troubleshoot print file errors before production
