About The Position

ARC is looking for a Full-time Digital Prepress Operator to help us continue to provide the best employment experience for employees; and, continued excellent service for our customers. We are seeking the right candidate to work in our fast-paced environment that requires extreme focus and quick transitions by executing the following essential job duties: Pre-press environment setting up files. Candidate must be organized, professional, and a good communicator Making corrections to existing client files Designing some print collateral. Efficient, accurate and able to multitask in a fast environment Offer realistic and creative ideas for our clients and our internal needs Perform proofing and quality control checks on each job produced Process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions Proactive self-starter with a Great Attitude and Work Ethic Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area Ability to report to work as scheduled and as required to support business operations Able to work overtime when needed Work additional, non-traditional hours (as needed) to complete job tasks and assignments. Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years Hands-on experience in a large format digital printing environment
  • Complete working knowledge and understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and other design programs
  • Solid working knowledge of large format and small format printing, finishing processes and materials
  • Understanding of project scope and how it relates to other trades
  • Above average math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers and fractions
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, resourcefully with minimal oversight
  • Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Onyx and Caldera RIP’s is a plus
