About The Position

The Prepared Plant Supervisor is responsible for leading, coaching, and training a team, fostering professional development through ongoing coaching. This role emphasizes safety, requiring constant promotion of safety practices throughout the work area and within the team. Key responsibilities include ensuring proper scheduling for the production area, motivating and training the team to optimize performance, and ensuring compliance with company policies and established food safety programs. The supervisor is also tasked with optimizing employee engagement through positive leadership and performing all other relevant supervisory duties.

Requirements

• 2+ year leadership and/or supervisory experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient technology, computer, mathematical and analytical skills.
• General knowledge of plant operations, food safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, GMPs and HACCP.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor degree in Poultry Science, Animal Science, Business Management, or other related field of study preferred.
