About The Position

Rosemont's kitchen team crafts the prepared foods sold in our markets including the sandwiches, salads, burritos, soups, dips and take and bake items. This is a fast-paced production environment producing and packaging large batches of fresh local food for individual sale with a focus on quality and consistency. We strive to showcase foods grown and produced in Maine and everyone is encouraged to participate in seasonal menu development.

Location:
Based out of Rosemont Headquarters at 832 Stevens Ave in Portland Maine,
This is an in-person position.

Requirements

• Professional experience is great but a passion for all things food is better! We are happy to train the right person and we want to work with people who are excited about sharing delicious local food.
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively both with a team and independently.
• Ability to give, receive and apply feedback.
• Focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. carton or bag frequently.
• Ability to stay standing and active for duration of shift.
• Ability to lift, twist, squat, and reach frequently.
