About The Position
The Preparator will work with our exhibition design and art handling team to create mounts for displaying artwork and moving artwork as necessary with the art handlers. Employee will collaborate with the lead Exhibition Designer and Chief Preparator on the preparation, fabrication, and installation of all exhibition production elements, including display furniture, pedestals, object mounts, and gallery lighting for all temporary exhibitions and permanent collection installations. Daily functions are performed independently to meet established Museum standards, as well as overall design specifications and production schedules.
