About The Position

We are hiring immediately for a full time PREP SHIFT SUPERVISOR position at Saint Christopher School in Richmond, VA. The schedule is Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The role involves directing the activities of associates during a specific shift and ensuring that assigned job expectations are completed while maintaining policy and procedure. The position requires prior culinary experience and offers a pay range of $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Prior culinary experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all prepared foods are properly labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated.
• Ensure products meet Flik guidelines for quality and preparation.
• Ensures product production is performed using correct measuring devices and all recipes are followed.
• Follows and complies, or ensures compliance, with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Responsible for providing training and creating work schedules.
• Evaluating the performance of workers, rewarding high performers and disciplining employees who fail to meet reasonable standards of work performance.
• Prepare production or sales reports for management and ensure their unit meets the expectations for quality, productivity and safety.
• Acts as the contact person for employees with complaints or requests for time off.
• May act as a mentor, develop employees and encourage workers to set goals and strive for advancement within the organization.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
