About The Position

To scale our current impact, ASU Prep is advancing a major expansion program taking fundamental responsibility for the communities we serve. The Prep Digital+ Personalized Learning Advisor (PLA) serves as the main point of contact and the teacher of record, for assigned groups of students in the ASU Prep Digital+ program. The Prep Digital+ PLA will manage the day to day operations and lead several cohorts, at one or more of the ASU Prep Digital+ locations, developing and facilitating an innovative full-day program experience and will coach, motivate, and advise students to help them meet their own educational goals. At the direction of the Director of Prep Digital+, as well as the Prep Digital+ Program Manager, the PLA shares responsibility for all aspects of the program including, but not limited to: daily lesson and program planning, academic and social-emotional curricular programming, collaboration with ASU Prep's Digital content teachers, as well as ASU Faculty to implement innovative cross-curricular project-based learning, tracking, monitoring and communicating information about student academics, behavior and attendance data to stakeholders, and assessing student progress.
