About The Position

Founded in 1966, Priest Lake Golf Course stands as an exquisite 18-hole, par-72 PGA Championship Course. What began as a modest 9-hole course has blossomed into a full-fledged 18-hole masterpiece since its expansion in 2000. In 2025 the clubhouse underwent a complete remodel creating a bar and restaurant where people love to be whether playing golf or meeting friends for drinks or a great meal. As a testament to its commitment to excellence, PLGC takes pride in being a family-owned establishment. Sandbagger’s Bar and Grill is the best kept secret at Priest Lake. We have a small but amazing menu and cater to locals and tourists alike.

Requirements

  • Previous kitchen or food prep experience preferred (but not always required)
  • Up to date food handlers' safety certification
  • Ability to follow instructions and work from recipes
  • Strong attention to detail and presentation

Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes, portion standards, and plating guidelines set by the kitchen leadership
  • Assist with menu, food ordering, specials etc.
  • Cooking for tournaments and events (buffet style)
  • Set up and stock our designated line with necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pantry station throughout the shift
  • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO)
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
  • Assist with prep work for other stations as needed
  • Communicate effectively with chefs, line cooks and Front of House staff during service
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, tools, and equipment at the end of each shift
  • Ensure guest orders are prepared accurately, efficiently and consistently
  • Wash dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment and ensure it is returned to its designated area
  • Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors and dish storage areas
  • Assist with basic kitchen tasks as needed
  • Follow sanitation and safety guidelines
