About The Position

As a Prep Cook at Red Lobster, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen by setting up and stocking prep and line stations, cleaning and organizing the kitchen area, and ensuring the quality and freshness of ingredients. You will be responsible for prepping items according to recipes and specifications while maintaining portion control systems. Additionally, you will inspect food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary food-handling practices.

Requirements

  • Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
  • Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 45 pounds safely
  • Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
  • Team player with attention to detail and ability to multi-task

  • Setting up and stocking prep and line stations

  • Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients
  • Prepping items according to recipes, quantity calls, and specification while maintaining portion control systems
