About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pastry Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for cooking, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to maintaining high culinary standards. While experience in fine dining is not required, a background in kitchen operations and a positive attitude are essential.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, but not required.
• Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
• Strong work ethic and a team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the Head Chef.
• Ensure the highest quality and presentation of food served.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist in the preparation of ingredients prior service.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate any shortages or needs to the kitchen manager.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
• Participate in kitchen cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
