THE ROLE Staten Island FerryHawks Stadium is seeking an energetic and dependable Prep Cook / Runner to support food service operations at one of Staten Island’s premier sports and entertainment venues, located along the scenic waterfront. This role is essential in ensuring food is prepared, organized, and delivered efficiently to concession areas, helping provide a fast, high-quality dining experience for fans during games and events.

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

  • Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically active tasks
  • Dependable, organized, and able to follow instructions accurately

Responsibilities

  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and portion standards
  • Assist with washing, cutting, and organizing ingredients for service
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and prep areas
  • Ensure all food is handled, stored, and labeled in accordance with food safety guidelines
  • Deliver prepared food and supplies from kitchen areas to concession stands as needed
  • Restock food stations and supplies throughout events to maintain smooth service
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of kitchen and prep areas before and after events
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages to supervisors
  • Work closely with kitchen staff and concession teams to ensure timely service
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and stadium procedures
  • Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general position compliance training
  • Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management
  • Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies
  • Complete other duties assigned by management
  • Available to work none-traditional hours (Nights, Weekends & Holidays)
