What will you do?

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience required
  • Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets
  • Ability to use kitchen tools safely (knives and small equipment ware)
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Frequent standing and walking for the entire length of the shift
  • Manual dexterity is sufficient to chop, mix, blend, and whip a variety of foods and liquids
  • Ability to move rapidly and coordinate multiple orders
  • Ability to frequently immerse hands in water
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Retrieve storage items necessary, and measure, portion, and prepare all food items, complying with all quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures
  • Communicate with the Chef for any special instructions or training
  • Maintain food, utensils, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
  • Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines
  • Follow all safety, security, kitchen, and ServSafe procedures, upholding all health codes and sanitation regulations
