About The Position

As the Prep Cook, you will work within the Dining Services Department to ensure high-quality, properly seasoned, nutritious food is prepared in a safe manner. You will collaborate with the dining services team and assist in all aspects of the dining operation.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Food Preparation: Prepare ingredients and food items on time while maintaining quality and freshness.
  • Safety & Storage: Follow safe food handling, labeling, and temperature guidelines.
  • Sanitation & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Records & Logs: Keep accurate production and temperature records.
  • Communication: Report kitchen issues or equipment concerns to the supervisor.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
  • Inventory: Assist with ordering, stocking, and disposing of waste
