Responsibilities

Assisting in prepping, portioning, and cooking under the direction of the Head Chef
Executing the flow of prep and cook days
High Volume Preparation
Ensure proper food handling and storing practices.
Will assist in the preparation of vegetables, proteins, carbs, sauces and garnishes.
Ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen facilities and equipment.
Must be able to perform all duties of cooks such as being able to store, prepare seasonings and ingredients, assembling and wash dishes, and operating commercial kettles, pots, pans, grills, ovens, and other equipment necessary to execute meals.
Be able to communicate with prep team members for recipes to be executed and planned for.
Be able to push and pull 50 lbs or more and lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Participates in shared kitchen cleaning duties such as dishwashing, floors and trash.
