About The Position
AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to immediately hire to fill the role of part-time Prep Cook at Cleveland Heights University Heights City School District in University Heights. This is a day-shift position that works Monday - Friday, no weekends, no holidays and follows the school schedule with summers off. Requirements
- Culinary experience or education preferred
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and food presentations skills
- Customer service focused nature
Responsibilities
- Prepare specific amount of food product according to the daily prep sheets
- Gather all necessary salad/sandwich ingredients and prepare them by washing, chopping, slicing, dicing and assembling them for customer purchase
- Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and recipes
- Manage food inventory when necessary
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Encourage good customer relations through product promotion
