About The Position
The prep cook at McAlister's Deli is responsible for preparing foods for cooking based on prep lists and manager directions. The role requires ensuring that food is prepared to consistent quality standards using recipe cards and adhering to production and portion standards. Additionally, the prep cook is expected to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of their station at the beginning and end of their shift, which may include light dishwashing. The position also involves protecting the establishment and guests by following sanitation and safety policies, as well as performing other duties as requested by management.
