Requirements

• Prior food preparation experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and basic math skills to portion and measure ingredients.
• Ability to use knives and kitchen tools safely and efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions and communicate effectively to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed and according to proper guidelines.
• Properly measures, portions, and prepares all food items per standards.
• Maintains food, utensils and equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
• Follows and upholds all health codes and sanitation regulations.
• Communicates with chef for any special instructions or training.
