About The Position
We are seeking a Prep Cook / Server to help serve a school in Lake City. In this position, you will assist the manager in preparing delicious meals, taking inventory, and assisting with monthly menus. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you! Please DO NOT go to the school, as we are a 3rd party hired through them as their Food Service Management Company.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar role is mandatory
- ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification or willing to obtain ASAP
- Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner
- Follow all food safety regulations
- Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test that we do for you
