About The Position

SUMMARY: Responsible for ensuring the efficiency, quality and preparation of all food items as outlined on the station prep sheet to include receiving, storage of products as related to hot and cold food items as well as maintaining a high level of sanitation of work area and kitchen and storage areas. Compensation: $17.00 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains the Erickson Senior Living philosophy and Values Follows proper handling, preparation and holding guidelines, takes temperatures at regular intervals and maintains foods in sufficient quantities while minimizing over-production and waste. Assists in preparing all food products as scheduled (may include therapeutic and mechanically altered recipes as scheduled), may include regular breakfast, lunch and dinner service and any catering or other special functions using Production Sheets and approved recipes. Follows HACCP procedures and practices. Maintains kitchen sanitation and equipment cleaning schedule. Communicates appropriately with all dining team members, supervisors - listens effectively. Works safely, consistently using designated safety equipment (personal protective equipment- PPE). All other duties as assigned by the Sous Chef, Executive Chef or Campus Executive Chef. Requirements
