Perform basic food preparation duties requiring minimal recipe knowledge, working under close supervision such as cleaning and slicing produce, slicing cold meats, making garnish and salads. Maintain established inventory levels and order stock. Monitor quality of prepared products and follow established storage and rotation standards. Maintain cleanliness of workstation and storage areas. Consistently apply established safety and sanitation procedures. Works and communicates with cooks and kitchen staff.

Requirements

  • Six (6) months of experience as a prep cook preferred.
  • Must be able to stand and/or walk for duration of shift.
  • Must be able to lift, carry and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
  • Other physical requirements of the position include but are not necessarily limited to reaching, grasping, bending, kneeling, and twisting at the waist.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Six (6) months of experience as a prep cook preferred.
