About The Position

TakoSushi is seeking a part-time delivery driver/prep cook to join our TakoSushi team. Position Summary: The Delivery Driver/Prep Cook is responsible for the preparation of food to be delivered to various restaurant locations, complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards and following established food production procedures. This position is also responsible for safely and efficiently delivering food and supplies to multiple restaurant locations. This position operates our of our TakoSushi commissary.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of food safety and basic cooking techniques
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
• Flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of foods following our recipes and specifications
• Monitor proper rotation of prepped and batched food items
• Follow all kitchen safety and sanitation policies & procedures
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen
• Use recipe cards and measuring tools
• Exhibit teamwork with other employees
• Maintain a positive working relationship with other employees
• Load and unload delivery vehicle while follow food safety guidelines
• Operate vehicle in a safe manner
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or requested
