SAGE Dining Services® is seeking reliable Prep Cook- Cook- Campus dining at private college in the Boston in Brookline, MA overlooking the city. Here you will be a part of a team with scratch-cooked food that is exciting, nutritious, and sustainable food. We provide continuous training to enable you to rise within our organization. A campus cook prepares food for students/staff, following recipes and safety standards, operating kitchen equipment, maintaining cleanliness, managing inventory/ordering, and sometimes supervising junior staff, focusing on consistent quality, presentation, and serving meals for daily operations and special events while adhering strictly to health codes and portion control. A campus prep cook prepares ingredients (washing, chopping, portioning), organizes workstations, maintains cleanliness and food safety, manages basic inventory/stocking, and assists chefs with simple cooking tasks, all to ensure smooth meal service for students, focusing on efficiency, following recipes, and adhering to health codes in a fast-paced environment, often part-time and flexible
