Prep Cook (Burger Production) Join the Drake’s team in a back-of-house role focused on preparing one of our most important menu items, our fresh burger patties! We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented team players who take pride in consistency, quality, and food safety. Drake’s is a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant where teamwork, timing, and communication are essential to everyone’s success. As a Prep Cook focused on burger production, you will primarily be responsible for preparing, portioning, weighing, and forming burger patties according to Drake’s specifications to ensure consistency and quality every time. While this role is primarily prep-focused, you may assist with other kitchen tasks during your shift. All team members play a part in upholding our standards for quality, safety, and presentation. We take pride in the product we serve our friends and families!

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, portioning, weighing, and forming burger patties according to Drake’s specifications
  • Maintaining proper food temperatures and safe food handling practices
  • Keeping a clean, organized, and sanitary prep station
  • Working efficiently to meet daily production goals
  • Supporting the kitchen team as needed
  • Upholding our standards for quality, safety, and presentation
