Preoperative Readiness Center Clerk, Full time, 7:30am-4pm
About The Position
The Preoperative Readiness Center Clerk works under general supervision to support front office operations while coordinating referrals, authorizations, scheduling, and preoperative readiness activities for surgical and procedural patients. The position verifies insurance eligibility, obtains authorizations, coordinates required testing and medical clearances, and communicates with patients and care teams to ensure completion of preoperative requirements. This role helps ensure patients are optimized and prepared for surgery, supports efficient clinic workflow, and maintains accurate documentation in electronic systems.
