Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• National Board Certification is mandatory.
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing.
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program, with a Master's level preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in primary or specialty care.
• Maintains BLS certification and any other relevant professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform age-appropriate preoperative exams and evaluations for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.
• Take detailed patient histories, including chief complaints and past medical histories.
• Order lab studies, including EKGs and blood work, as indicated.
• Screen patients for infections and assess cardiac or pulmonary issues.
• Collaborate with a collegial group practice and support staff to enhance patient care.
