About The Position
The Preop RN assists in the daily clinical operations of the Preop in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. This role involves participating in indirect patient care, including maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe environment. The RN will assess patient understanding of the disease process and the need for surgical intervention, perform pre/post-operative teaching, and demonstrate appropriate nursing management and intervention preoperatively and postoperatively.
