The role of the APRN / Physician Assistant (PA) at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is one of collaboration and partnership within an inter-professional team. APRNs and PAs are board-certified providers who assume responsibility and accountability for health stabilization, promotion, and maintenance of acute and chronic illness or injury under the supervision of the physician. Participate in evidenced-based clinical practice, clinical research, ongoing innovative education, and shared governance throughout the organization. Schedule: Full-time position. 10-hr shifts, 6a-4p, no nights, weekends, or holidays.

Requirements

  • Clinical Master's Degree in Nursing or DNP, Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Current BLS and PALS.
  • Current Licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse and APRN, or PA.
  • Current National Certification as an APRN or a PA
  • Applicants who require sponsorship now or in the future will not be considered for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer 5 years of PA/APRN pediatric acute care, critical care, or specialty care, or primary care of medically complex patients.
