About The Position

Proof of the Pudding is an award-winning catering company throughout the Southeast with a commitment to creating quality culinary concepts from scratch. This standard was upheld through the expansion into Sports and Entertainment Hospitality Services by providing elevated concessions and premium offerings to collegiate stadiums, professional golf tournaments, International Boat Shows, Professional Sports Teams, & more. Proof is the Food Service provider to the Truist Championship located at Quail Hollow Golf Club from May 7-May 10. We are hiring Premium Hospitality Bartender to work in the suites areas for the duration of the event. Hospitality Bartenders are responsible for product inventory, making beverages, following policies, and bar clean up post event. Work assignments and tasks can change daily based on the immediate needs of the event calendar.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ years of bartending experience
  • Must be TIPs/TEAM certified (will accept Team certification or will provide training).
  • Knowledge of upscale/VIP service styles required.
  • Knowledge of alcohol compliance and safety.
  • Must be available all event days and willing to work extneded shift hours
  • Must be extremely hardworking and organized.
  • Must be exceedingly responsible and accountable.
  • Maintain good grooming and personal hygiene.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Renowned time management and organization skills.
  • Strong Customer Service skills with the desire to go above and beyond a client’s needs.
  • The ability to work alone and as a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to learn and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for both pre & post bar set-up/breakdown responsibilities.
  • Sets bar up in a timely manner, including icing down product.
  • Communicates well with bar back personnel during the event to assist them with replenishment during shift.
  • Greets all guests and gives exceptional customer service.
  • Attentive to guests needs throughout the entire event.
  • Cleans bar after closing, discard excess ice.
  • Record closing inventory
  • Responsible for putting away all inventory as directed.
  • Follows all federal, local, and venue alcohol policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.
