Pharmacists Mutual Insurance is seeking a dedicated Premium Auditor to join our Finance team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy of Workers Compensation policies by compiling, examining, and analyzing member information, including payroll, job duties, and tax documents. The Premium Auditor will engage with our members to gather necessary information and develop a comprehensive understanding of their risk profiles, fostering strong relationships in the process. The final policy premium is calculated based on the records collected, adhering to state regulations and guidelines. The position is structured into three levels: Premium Auditor I, II, and Senior Premium Auditor. The Premium Auditor I will perform audits on less complex accounts with guidance from mentors, demonstrating effective workload management and communication skills. The Premium Auditor II will have a proven track record of high-quality work and a strong understanding of processes and policies, capable of resolving disputes and coordinating multi-location audits for larger risks. The Senior Premium Auditor will provide management with in-depth analysis and resolution of complex matters, lead training for junior auditors, and assist in quality review procedures, contributing to the overall growth and development of the team. Essential functions of the role include conducting audits of selected Commercial Lines adjustable policies, communicating with members to understand their operations, determining premium basis and classification information, and analyzing claims to ensure proper classification coding and payroll allocation. The Premium Auditor will also stay updated on manual rules, state regulations, and company standards, ensuring data quality and accuracy while providing timely customer service and documenting all transactions according to company guidelines.
