About The Position

Entry level role focused on supporting the premium audit function and can be located in either of our Sentry offices located in Stevens Point (Strongs) or Madison, WI (Regional). What You’ll Do: As an Premium Audit Technician I, you will be responsible for specific territories utilizing your talents to: • Reviews and disseminates mail, email, and fax audit report submissions for all lines of business and all states. Assesses records received and communicates with insureds and agents when additional information is expected. Creates referrals to underwriters on pertinent information after the review process. • Assists with responding to insured and agent questions and requests • Calculates and bills final policy premium after audit has been reviewed • Assists with reviewing and processing invoices from vendor audit firms. • Initiates and completes necessary policy changes following established department guidelines. • Works directly with Supervisor on timely and accurate test audit submissions. • Evaluates voluntary audits on small to mid-market accounts for accurate classification and policy provisions to develop final earned premium. What it Takes: • High School Diploma; Associate Degree preferred • Working knowledge of PC software applications • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team • Capability to meet and adapt to deadlines and workload fluctuations • Excellent customer engagement and service skills • Great judgment and decision-making ability • Analytical skills to effectively interpret manual rules and audit information • Basic aptitude for mathematics, accounting, and financial documents beneficial Equal Employment Opportunity Sentry is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
