Requirements

  • Associate degree in accounting OR 3+ years of professional accounting experience
  • QuickBooks and journal entry experience
  • Account reconciliation and review experience
  • Proven ability to accurately reconcile and audit data
  • Sharp attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Solid bookkeeping, credit, and debit knowledge
  • Microsoft Word proficiency
  • Demonstrated high levels of attendance
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • High school diploma (or equivalent)
  • Flexible and proactive approach to projects
  • Must have the ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screening.

Nice To Haves

  • We'd prefer that our Premium Admin - Billing Specialist be able to multitask, manage competing priorities, and quickly adapt to changing needs and circumstances.
  • The ability to fully complete tasks, prioritize competing responsibilities, and stay organized would be beneficial.
  • A positive and collaborative team attitude is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Using QuickBooks to manage invoices, track deposits, and print checks
  • Using WLT to set up premium rate tables
  • Depositing funds and approving ACH activity on the bank's website
  • Thoroughly reviewing financial documents (balance sheets, P&L statements, etc.) for accuracy
  • Preparing self-funded organ transplant and stop loss invoices
  • Assisting with year-end accounting duties, including the annual financial audit
