Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field, or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential (preferred)
Strong ability to develop relationships and communicate effectively with children, families, and colleagues
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the care and supervision of children

Responsibilities

Curriculum & Instruction: Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using our Wonder of Learning® curriculum to support each child’s growth and development.
Classroom Management: Create and maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
Family Communication: Build strong relationships with families through open, positive, and ongoing communication about their child’s progress and daily experiences.
Health & Safety: Supervise children during all activities to ensure their well-being and compliance with health, safety, and licensing standards.
Assessment & Documentation: Observe, assess, and document children’s learning to inform instruction and share progress with families.
Team Collaboration: Partner with Assistant Teachers and Resource Teachers to create a cohesive, supportive classroom community.
Behavior Guidance: Model and implement positive guidance strategies that promote social-emotional growth and conflict resolution.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your teaching skills and career growth.
