PreK Teacher Assistant
About The Position

The Early Learning Center has been providing quality care and education for 50+ years! The teacher assistant is responsible for assisting with the academic, social-emotional growth and development of all children in their care; developing partnerships with parents to engage and encourage parent participation in the program. The teacher assistant is also responsible for assuring compliance with codes of all State and local governing contracting agencies; and works collegially with other staff members of the ELC. The teacher assistant is supervised by the lead teacher of that classroom, and must be able to take direction from the lead teacher and assist with the Teaching Strategies Gold Documentation and lessons from Creative Curriculum.
