About The Position
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School is accepting applications for a PreK 1 Preschool Teacher for the 2026 to 2027 school year. We are seeking a nurturing, enthusiastic educator with a strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for fostering young learners.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood or preschool education preferred
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Warmth, consistency, and professionalism
- Must pass a background check
- Must complete Virtus Training
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons and activities
- Establish a structured, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
- Support students’ social, emotional, and cognitive growth
- Manage classroom routines including centers, rest, snack, and transitions
- Observe and monitor student progress and behavior
- Differentiate instruction based on student needs
- Maintain classroom organization and materials
- Communicate regularly with parents and administration
- Collaborate with assistants and staff
- Uphold safety and supervision standards
