About The Position

The Prefab Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our prefab shop operations. This role is heavily focused on reviewing and creating fabrication sheets, preparing accurate material take-offs, and coordinating with shop leads to ensure production runs smoothly and projects stay on schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Construction or Civil Engineering (or related).
• 1–3+ years in construction, prefab, or manufacturing (shop/field).
• Strong drawing and document interpretation.
• Material take-offs and estimating experience.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with lean construction, prefab methods a plus.
• CAD/BIM proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, review and interpret fabrication sheets, drawings, and shop details
• Perform detailed and accurate material take-offs to support procurement and production
• Coordinate with project managers, design teams, and shop leads to ensure drawings translate into efficient workflows
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between design documents and fabrication requirements
• Support inventory planning, procurement, and staging of materials for production
• Continue the development of shop standards for documentation, cut lists, and fabrication sheets
