About The Position

The Predictive Maintenance Technician I is responsible for executing the plant’s Predictive Maintenance program; including collection and analysis of vibration, ultra sound, and thermographic information for plant equipment and performing precision maintenance. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Specialized training in the mechanical/technical field, with an emphasis in Industrial Maintenance required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Ideally 3 years in reliability/predictive.
Experience with Maintenance Management System (MMS) such as Maximo preferred.
High school diploma + technical/mechanical training.
Strong computer and data analysis skills.
Ability to work independently.
Continuous improvement mindset.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

Collect, manage and analyze thermography data, vibration analysis data, and ultra-sonic analysis data.
Generate reports for corrective actions based on thermography data, vibration analysis data and ultra-sonic analysis data.
Educate maintenance technicians on predictive, preventive and precision maintenance techniques.
Complete failure analysis procedures and documentation following equipment failures.
Generate work orders for corrective action as needed.
Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
Work within the MMS (maintenance management system) to assign work orders as needed
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.
