About The Position

The Predictive Maintenance Technician I is responsible for executing the plant’s Predictive Maintenance program; including collection and analysis of vibration, ultra sound, and thermographic information for plant equipment and performing precision maintenance. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Specialized training in the mechanical/technical field, with an emphasis in Industrial Maintenance required. Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
  • Ideally 3 years in reliability/predictive.
  • Experience with Maintenance Management System (MMS) such as Maximo preferred.
  • High school diploma + technical/mechanical training.
  • Strong computer and data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with managers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, establish priorities, ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook and field-specific software.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).

Responsibilities

  • Collect, manage and analyze thermography data, vibration analysis data, and ultra-sonic analysis data.
  • Generate reports for corrective actions based on thermography data, vibration analysis data and ultra-sonic analysis data.
  • Educate maintenance technicians on predictive, preventive and precision maintenance techniques.
  • Complete failure analysis procedures and documentation following equipment failures.
  • Generate work orders for corrective action as needed.
  • Understand and comply with all Quality Assurance policies, immediately reporting any potential food safety issues to management.
  • Work within the MMS (maintenance management system) to assign work orders as needed
  • Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
  • Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
  • Support safety policies and programs.
