About The Position

Siemens is looking to fill a permanent position as a Predictive Maintenance Engineer active in delivery and sales support to work within the Senseye Predictive Maintenance team. Senseye Predictive Maintenance is an industry-leading cloud-based solution for predictive maintenance that was acquired by Siemens in 2022. With cutting-edge machine learning technologies, it empowers industrial customers to minimize unplanned downtime, optimize maintenance operations, and enhance the sustainability of their manufacturing processes. Through our bespoke web application, we offer a comprehensive overview of production equipment, highlighting assets in need of maintenance attention and delivering valuable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical subject such as Engineering, Physics or similar.
  • Extensive industrial experience will also be considered.
  • Experience using Python (or similar) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
  • Passion for data analytics and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel and support sales and project activities from a technical perspective.
  • Experience cooperating with software development teams.
  • Fluency in Spanish essential due to attending technical meetings.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert in the core application functionality including product features such as diagnostics, prognostics, and forecasting algorithms.
  • Train and support regional delivery teams and partners in Senseye delivery practice.
  • Provide second line support for regional delivery and partners when they engage customers' reliability engineering and maintenance personnel.
  • Analyze sensor data for a broad spectrum of machines.
  • Recommend suitable data features extraction and define data pre-processing or additional contextual information which may be required.
  • Assist in delivering user training in the effective and efficient use of the application.
  • Keep track of new and updated application features.
  • Mentor regional delivery teams, partners, and customers on how to implement and gain value from Senseye Predictive Maintenance.
  • Independently manage projects and prioritize workload.
