Requirements

  • 4-year engineering or construction management degree preferred.
  • OSHA 30 completion card preferred.
  • 7-10 years of relevant construction estimating experience.
  • Multifamily construction industry experience a plus.
  • Experience in Timberline Estimating, SmartBid, PlanSwift, Procore, Bluebeam, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure enforcement/ compliance of CF Evans Construction’s corporate safety, quality, and schedule / production management programs.
  • Lead and direct project planning and customer service programs for projects.
  • Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative internal and external partner relationships.
  • Lead and/or perform portions of estimates for projects, including understanding scope and performing accurate quantity surveys.
  • Ensure proper management of the client’s expectations established for preconstruction efforts.
  • Build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
  • Support project teams throughout the preconstruction process including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management.
  • Provide Value Engineering options as necessary.
  • Coordinate pricing efforts with the construction services teams and Director of Safety for construction assemblies and logistics.
  • Develop or further enhance phasing and sequencing plans, in consultation with Operations.
