Requirements

• Recent graduates planning to pursue a Master's degree in a related discipline are eligible.

• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Previous relevant internship experience.
• Exposure to construction-based computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of assignments to develop professional work knowledge and abilities.
• Assist with the development of a project prior to on-site construction activities.
• Conduct cost estimating using traditional 2D takeoff tools or 3D model quantities.
• Review project documentation to assist in creating a preliminary project schedule.
• Study project site characteristics for logistics planning, including phasing and access.
• Follow instructions from senior staff to accomplish assigned tasks.
• Meet required schedules while producing quality work.
• Gain hands-on skills that differ from academic training.
