Practical problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. The candidate must also be able to collaborate with diverse teams both on-site and in the office. Some responsibilities will be office-based, particularly those related to documentation and planning, while others will require on-site presence for field walks and meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Education: Highschool Diploma, Technical Associate, or a related experience
  • Experience: Some previous experience in construction or internships is preferred but not required.
  • Travel: 50% depending on business needs
  • Work Schedule: Typical work hours are between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. Overtime may be required.
  • Proficient in using a PC and Microsoft Office Suite, with a strong understanding of the required software.

  • The candidate must also be able to collaborate with diverse teams both on-site and in the office.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of construction programs like Bluebeam studio, AutoCAD, and Revit are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in interpreting construction plans, drawings, and specifications.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings.
  • Generate and distribute meeting minutes.
  • Keep all stakeholders informed of changes and modifications made throughout the construction process.
  • Provide support to field personnel during construction, ensuring design intent is accurately translated to the field.
  • May be required to work on-site as needed.
  • Attend site meetings and visits to document existing conditions.
  • Assist and collaborate with the engineering team in developing designs to meet project goals.
  • Support MEP coordination with other trade contractors.
  • Aid in the construction as-built and documentation process.
  • Maintain logs, responsible for the submittal and RFI process, and report updates to senior engineers and project managers.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
